Parent Council/Parent Teacher Association
Welcome to Quarter Primary Parent Council and Parent Teacher Association. We are currently a group of 12 parent/carers who represent the parent community in working alongside the school across a range of activities.
The objective of the Parent Council is to offer all parents the opportunity to have their say in their child’s education. Parent Council members can take forward any educational issues and suggestions on behalf of parents as well as fundraise for the school.

GET INVOLVED
It’s easy to get involved in the Parent Council just come along to one of the scheduled meetings and have your say or simply listen to what is new at the school. Meetings are held quarterly in the evening at 7pm at the school and last approximately 1 and 1/2 hours. You can be as involved as much or as little as you want to be. If you are interested in hearing more about joining the parent council, please email us qps.parentcouncil@gmail.com

If you have any topics/issues you would like the Parent Council to raise on your behalf please tell us about them. Whilst the Parent Council wish to help as much as possible please note we are unable to raise matters relating to an individual pupil.

Events and Fundraising
At Quarter Primary all fundraising is carried out by the Parent Council and PTA. Fundraising by the Parent Council provides the school with approximately £2k additional funds per year. Whilst this is fantastic we can always strive to raise more for our school. The Parent Council are always looking for new fundraising ideas or suggestions so if you have any please feel free to share them with us. We can be contacted via the Parent Council Facebook Page.
The Events Programme provides a list of all Parent Council planned events for the coming year. Details of what is required to organise and run the event and how volunteers may assist. If you are interested in assisting or would like to know more please contact the parent council via our on the Parent Council Facebook Page, by email or via the school office.
